The Location
This wedding venue is one that sticks out from the crowd. There is simply no other venue like it. Situated between Charlotte and Hickory amid gently rolling hills is the stunning Providence Cotton Mill. With an impressive 10,000 sqft brick and plaster building providing a hybrid of indoor and outdoor spaces, this wedding venue offers a sophisticated historical charm.
Weddings at the Providence Cotton Mill are well curated. With an incredible team available to every couple, the imagination can run wild. This wedding venue includes a wedding coordinator to assist with prep during the last 30 days, so you can rest assured your day will go off without a hitch!
The large indoor space provides the perfect shelter from the elements. But this grand space is for more than just shade or rain plans. You can hold your entire day all indoors, with the indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly intertwined via windowless arches.
The ceremony can be held in front of the rich textured brick and plaster walls, or out near the mossy trees under open skies. Cocktail hour is on the patio with an eye-catching ivy wall, and the lawn space is perfect for sunset portraits and lawn games.
The romantic ambiance continues through the evening as the twinkle lights turn this massive 30-ft tall structure into a magical reception space. Above all, the Providence Cotton Mill is perfect for the couple looking for something sophisticated and romantic.
The Décor
First, Kendyl and Evan really blended the outside with the inside. They chose to use a mixture of high and low reception centerpieces with lots of greenery. This added along with the windowless arches created the feeling of being outdoors.
Secondly, they also spent a lot of time and effort on the details. They used hand-lettered table numbers, displayed a beautifully arranged memory table, and had a stunning spread of desserts on the cake table. In addition, their personal photographs were displayed throughout the venue, and their name was cut from metal and hung above the head table. This day was a feast for the eyes at every turn.
Lastly, the color palette was a deep blush, white, green, and navy. The bridesmaids wore blush dresses, while the groomsmen wore navy suits.
