Charlotte Wedding Venues

A complete guide to Charlotte wedding venues! We have listed every wedding venue in Mecklenburg County, from uptown Charlotte to the surrounding areas such as Matthews, Monroe, Huntersville, Maiden, and Concord, along with the best locations for your wedding day portraits and engagement sessions!

Charlotte Wedding Venues

We might be a little biased because we’ve lived and worked in Charlotte for a few years now, but you’ve picked a phenomenal place to get married. Mecklenburg County alone has a wide gamut of wedding venues, from industrial chic to luxurious glam, to historical to rustic – there is something for every couple in every budget. The surrounding areas of Charlotte only add to the incredible variety you’ll find around the Queen City. We’ve included some of our favorites below this main Charlotte list broken down by town.

To narrow down your wedding venue search, take some time to think about what you’d like your wedding day to look and feel like. Does playing cornhole during cocktail hour sounds like you? Would you prefer to hold your event indoors in case it’s a bit too toasty in the warmer months, or you’re surprised by a late afternoon summer thunderstorm? Or maybe you want to wow your guests with the glitzy metro vibe of the city you love so dearly more your style?

Once you have a vision, start browsing through the different venue websites to see what fits your style, then schedule tours with all your favorites. Oftentimes a website doesn’t do a venue justice, so we highly suggest seeing your favorites in person before taking them off your list. Planning your wedding from out of state? Many venues have 3D tours, or will gladly do virtual tours as well!

Like many barn venues, there are open fields and woodsy vibes, but this venue also boasts a lovely ceremony space with an arbor on a concrete patio behind the barn. There are getting-ready cabins for both sides of the wedding party, just beware the bridal cabin can get right with more than 5 in the bridal party. The venue also supplies a day-of coordinator to help make the planning process a cinch and they also supply tables, chairs, and linens for up to 160 guests.

This barn venue is quite beautiful. The barn itself is temperature-controlled and has a patio with bistro lighting. It has a massive stone fireplace inside that serves as the focal point (which makes fall and winter weddings dreamy). You have the option of a pond or covered ceremony area, and there are both groom and bridal suites for you and your party to get ready in. On-site suites for both parties are hard to come by, so this is a major plus!
