The day of the proposal brought some unexpected challenges. Rain threatened to derail the plans, and just minutes before Michael was set to pop the question, it seemed like the weather might have other ideas. ☔️ But as if on cue, the skies cleared just in time, leaving us with a beautiful backdrop to witness and document their unforgettable moment. ☀️

Michael’s proposal was heartfelt and emotional, and the look on Kelsie’s face when she said “yes” was pure joy. 🎉 Her electric smile and radiant excitement were infectious. 😍 After capturing the proposal, we spent time taking portraits of Michael and Kelsie as they basked in the glow of their newly engaged status. True to our style, we balanced candid, documentary-style shots with posed, traditional portraits. Kelsie was all in, and making her laugh was such a joy! Every shot reflected their genuine love and the excitement of their next chapter together. 💍 Just as the session was wrapping up, a light sprinkle began to fall. Seizing the moment, we captured a beautiful backlit portrait that highlighted the raindrops—a perfect ending before Michael and Kelsie headed off to the surprise party he had planned.
