One of the standout moments was the groom’s surprise: a vintage Porsche getaway car. The look on the bride’s face when she saw it was priceless, and later, we snuck away for dreamy night portraits in a nearby park—images that feel straight out of a movie.

The couple also treated their guests to an unforgettable dining experience by bringing in a Vietnamese restaurant from Charlotte to cater the wedding. Guests enjoyed the best of both worlds with a delicious American barbecue buffet alongside a traditional Vietnamese buffet—a true reflection of their story and cultures coming together.

Another meaningful detail was when the bride honored her groom’s Vietnamese heritage by changing into a red Áo dài for the reception. This stunning gown not only added rich color to the celebration but also represented family, tradition, and love. It was a powerful reminder that weddings are at their best when they reflect both partners’ stories.

Here is what Carrie had to say leading up to her wedding:

1. What are you most looking forward to on the day? 
I am genuinely looking forward the most to walking down the aisle and seeing Victor.  I can’t wait to see the look on his face and to hold his hands as we stand in front of all of our closest friends and family. 

2. What inspired your wedding décor? Did you have a theme in mind? 
The theme I’m working with is what I would call boho glam with fall touches. 

3. Why did you pick the venues that you chose, and what is your favorite feature about your wedding venue? 
To be honest, I picked my venue because I love my wedding planner and I could get a better deal lol but no I also love the classic southern feel of the home and I love the outdoor green space surround it. 

4. What is your favorite feature about your wedding venue? 
My favorite feature is probably the look of the double porches on the front of the home as well as the fountain on the right side of the home under this huge tree. 

5. Is there any particular vendor that you are really excited to have for your day? 
Y’all are probably who I’m the most excited for! But also I can’t wait for the food! 

6. Tell us about the food/drink at your wedding. 
We are having a Vietnamese restaurant from Charlotte cater our wedding. We are having an American barbecue buffet and a Vietnamese buffet. 

7. Which part of your wedding did you want to WOW your guests? 
I just want everyone to  be wowed by the genuineness of our ceremony and feel the love we have for each other and for them. That’s the most important thing to me.
