This Congaree National Park maternity session was oh so sweet. This beautiful lady contacted us to shoot her maternity photos, and we couldn’t have been more excited. Kaycee is special to us not only in that we are personal friends, but because she was our very first client. She had been dreaming of becoming a mother for years, and we were delighted to immortalize this special time in her and her husband’s life.

The Location

This Texas mama wanted to have images taken outdoors. She chose to have ger Congaree National Park maternity session here for the woodsy feel. There are beautiful bridges engulfed in nature and wildlife, but we also stumbled across a field of wildflowers which we couldn’t pass up.

The Shoot

We started the session near the main entrance where the welcome center is, and ended in a wildflower field near the campgrounds. We spent time winding around the bridges, enjoying the sunlight peering through the leaves, before stepping down on the ground into the trees.

Kaycee’s dress was perfect for the autumn weather, and was a shade of sweet baby pink. She glowed, caressing the belly she had hoped for all these years.
