Elopements have a quiet kind of magic — a chance to focus on what matters most, surrounded by just a few loved ones (or even none at all). Annamarie and Josh’s Raleigh elopement was the perfect example of a day built with intention, elegance, and personal meaning.

Let’s Get Married!

We met up with them at their Airbnb just after lunchtime. They were already glowing with excited, nervous energy. We captured a few portraits in the beautiful natural light at the front of the home. Afterward, their ceremony took place at the Wake County Courthouse. After a long wait, it was finally our turn! Annamarie shed a few tears (and giggles), and we cheered at the heartfelt moment that marked the start of this new chapter in their lives.

Portraits

After saying “I do,” we explored Nash Square Park, one of Raleigh’s most charming downtown green spaces. The crisp fall air, golden leaves, and warm sun made for a beautiful backdrop for newlywed portraits. Annamarie looked absolutely radiant in an Áo Dài-inspired white jumpsuit, a modern and stylish tribute to her Vietnamese heritage. Josh couldn’t stop smiling at her — and we can’t blame him.

From there, we made our way to their private reception at Caffe Luna, a cozy downtown favorite known for its Tuscan charm. Before their dinner began, we captured a few quiet portraits in the private dining room where they would soon celebrate with their closest loved ones.
