We had the honor of capturing a truly memorable wedding that took place in Asheville, North Carolina, at two iconic venues: the Kimpton Hotel Arras and the Asheville Masonic Temple. The day was a beautiful mix of elegance, fun, and personal meaning, and we were so excited to be a part of this LGBTQ+-friendly celebration.

A Stage Fit for an Actor

The ceremony took place on the stage of the Asheville Masonic Temple’s grand auditorium, and what a perfect setting it was. The groom, an actor, was right at home on the stage, creating a magical atmosphere for their vows. The timeless beauty of the space, with its rich architectural details and elegant lighting, was the ideal backdrop for their emotional exchange.

A Reception to Remember

After the ceremony, the celebration moved to the ground floor, where the couple and their guests gathered for an unforgettable reception. From the delicious food beautifully presented by Sage and Spice Catering to the heartfelt speeches, every moment was filled with joy. It was clear that this wedding was a reflection of the couple’s personalities—laid-back and elegant.

A Party Like No Other

The night didn’t stop after the reception. The couple planned an exciting after-party upstairs, with a separate DJ who brought the energy to new heights. The dance floor was alive with energy as the couple and their guests danced the night away, making sure the celebration continued on a high note.

Indoor & Nighttime Portraits

We were able to take full advantage of the venues’ stunning features, including some breathtaking indoor portraits at the Kimpton Hotel Arras and nighttime portraits at the Asheville Masonic Temple. The atmosphere inside the Kimpton Hotel, paired with the beautiful lighting outside the temple, made for some truly unforgettable images that captured the magic of the day.
