This Palmetto Club wedding was so sweet (seriously check out their desserts), effortlessly romantic, and a ton of fun! Catherine’s smile is absolutely contagious and Allen couldn’t have walked taller with her by his side. These two truly light up a room and it was a pleasure photographing their day!

The Location

The ceremony was a traditional church wedding, with delicate stained glass windows and a string quartet to ring in the occasion. The reception took place at The Palmetto Club about 10 minutes away in downtown Columbia. This venue oozes sophistication with high-end sconces, chunky crown molding, and satin finished vintage printed wallpaper. But don’t let this classy venue think it’s stuffy – this crowd wasn’t afraid to boogie down, and the dancing went on into the night!

The Decor

Catherine chose a polished ivory and champagne color palette. Elegant ivory calla lilies, hydrangeas, and roses were displayed in clear vases throughout the reception on white table cloths.

The dessert room had to be the highlight of everyone’s night. One of the most beautiful cake table displays we’ve ever seen sat atop a champagne lace table cloth. From silver and white cake pops, appearing as if they were sparklers, surrounded a chic an ivory and champagne wedding cake. One of the most unique characteristics of their cake was the jewel placed on the top tear. Such a stunning final touch!
