Etsy Shops for Brides
If you haven’t considered Etsy for some of your wedding needs, think again! Etsy offers some of the most unique and high-quality handmade goods around. I used Etsy for a couple of my wedding items, but even I didn’t realize just how many things I could have purchased! I’ve put together a quick list of shops I think every bride should check out, and I hope this gets your wheels turning (and potentially save you a little cash!)
VerdeStudio
This Etsy shop is so cool to me! Virginia Sauder sells vintage stamps to make your invites have a little more pizazz! You can buy them in sets for weddings, unused still valid stamps, in every color imaginable. We highly recommend checking out her shop, no matter the occasion!
InkandWaterDesigns
If you’ve been following us, you know I’ve recommended using hand stamps to save writer’s cramp before. Your stamp can be something including a likeness of your pet (5 Ways to Include Your Pet in Your Wedding), just use your initials, or something totally custom. Ink + Water Designs offers designs to choose from, as well as making something from scratch. Make writing out all those invitations a breeze (and fun!) by smacking (literally!) your return address on those bad boys!
PinkOwlDesigns
I’m not going to lie, I totally derailed and perused this shop for like 20 minutes before I had to make myself get back to work. There are so many items and customizable options! This shop offers event items like signage and cake toppers, as well as non-wedding items like ornaments and home décor. You’ll find something you love fairly easily. Take my word for it!
LilaFrances
This shop is the first shop to offer wire hangers on Etsy. Yep, this is the OG. Tim actually gifted me one of her hangers when we were engaged. Your dress is definitely going to be photographed on the big day. You’d be surprised how a nice hanger makes a difference in your photos. Cheap plastic hangers just don’t do it justice in our opinion! Anna Hartshorn has broadened the shop’s offerings to now include cake toppers, and accessories.
PaperAlley
If you’re interested in someone else dealing with writer’s cramp, or you just want your invitations to look beautiful (with a touch of class), Paper Alley is for you! They not only custom hand-letter envelopes for you, but they also make custom stamps for your return address and MORE. I had fun perusing their designs, and all of the options they have available.
InspiredStitches
I photographed two weddings recently who had used this amazing idea – custom embroidering a handkerchief. One bride had one made for her groom, and the other had one made for her father. You’re able to choose from a variety of fonts, colors, and styles. Carrying one along with your bouquet may be a great idea if you know happy tears will come!
ButtercupBlossom
This shop helps you with party décor and details. They have plenty of balloon designs, plates, cups, confetti, and more. While there are many birthday and baby shower offerings, take the time to scroll through. There are some pretty great, and funny, items they offer!
Serenity
This shop is amazing. There, I said it. Why are they amazing? They offer flower accessories like flower crowns, hairpins, flower girl baskets, ring bearer boxes, and more. It’s great to see many of the crowns and pins in use via the example images. I didn’t even think of something like this for my hair. What a simple way to elevate your look!
CrystalAvenues
This isn’t the only shop on Etsy that offers some beautiful jewelry, but every piece displayed at this shop is hand made. This means you know what you’re getting is truly unique. They offer full sets as well, ensuring all of your jewelry coordinates well together. Sue offers Swarovski crystal jewelry, pearls jewelry, and pieces are available in white, yellow, and rose gold.
EleganceByKate
This Etsy shop just blew me away. They make everything from hairpieces, hairpins, headbands, bracelets and more. But it’s the designs, each shown on a model, that took my breath away. Some of the designs are so intricate and detailed it’s hard to imagine how their concept was created! If you want your look to stand out from the crowd, and be nothing like any of your friends, check this shop out!
