Eventide Brewing Wedding

We love when clients become our friends, and that’s exactly what happened with Kate and Mike. Over the course of planning their Eventide Brewing wedding in Atlanta, we hit it off. Naturally, when the big day finally arrived, we were thrilled to meet in person!

After getting ready they had a swift and sweet first look outside the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the church where their ceremony was performed. Following, we made our way to Eventide Brewing which is their favorite local brewery (good beer and good food? Count us in!). We thoroughly enjoyed the special touches, like the running family tradition of passing around and dancing in the baseball caps of the couple’s favorite team at the reception. Obviously, we all gawked at their cake which was a moody, stunning purple piece of art by Ginger Spice Bakery. Big laughs, sweet toasts, and first dances prefaced the energetic dance floor that went strong all the way through to the sparkler exit.

When it came time for Kate and Mike’s Reveal Celebration, they made a special trip here to Charlotte for the big unveiling and to explore the Queen City. We are so grateful our paths crossed and they trusted us with documenting one of the biggest milestones of their lives!

1. What are you most looking forward to on the day? 

Everyone being together – all my out of town family meeting the Georgia family and friends 

2. What inspired your wedding décor? Did you have a theme in mind?

Jewel-toned colors – the dark shades of greens blues reds purples yellows 

3) Why did you pick the venues that you chose?

We decided to get married in the ️⛪️ and then wanted to keep the reception very close to home and we love beer 🍻 Eventide is our neighborhood brewery

4. What is your favorite feature about your wedding venue?

The wooden tones, the darker colors the chalkboard signs for their beers and the smell.. haha 

5. Is there any particular vendor that you are really excited to have for your day? 

The cake and DJ 

6. Tell us about the food/drink at your wedding. 

We are having a buffet style from Magnolia Catering and the drink is all beer and seltzer
