Frank Liske Park Engagement Session

This session is one of our favorites so far this year! We were very excited to venture around and start photographing couples in our new city. We decided to kick off our business here in Charlotte, North Carolina by holding a giveaway for a free engagement session. Lauren and Patrick were our lucky winners, and they were a dream to work with! We hope to venture back to Frank Liske Park soon!

The Shoot

The weather on this day was hot for mid-April, but Lauren and Patrick were all smiles! Lauren requested a shoot with a woodsy and outdoors feel. A good friend suggested Franke Liske Park, and it fit the bill perfectly!

The park has several sports fields, a pond with ducks you can feed, kayak rentals, fishing, mini-golf, and more. With 238 acres, there is definitely something for everyone!

We found a row of pine trees to give Lauren the woodsy feel she desired, and ventured to an open field nearby. Shooting during golden hour made everything warm and dreamy. We ended the session by grabbing a couple of creative silhouette images at the event center. (Be sure to scroll to the bottom to see!)
